All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts […]
I am a 20-something graduate of a Philadelphia university who now resides in Denver. I enjoy reading and spending as much time as I can outside. Some friends refer to me as a ‘closet hippie’: but I sum it up by saying I’m a West Coast soul. Overall, I like to live by the simple mentality of: have fun and do what makes you happy.
One of the things that makes me happy above all else is writing, and that’s how “The World’s a Stage” was born. The title is taken from one of my favorite Shakespeare plays, As You Like It. I believe that the world is our stage and we are all cast in certain roles for a reason. Therefore, this blog is dedicated to the acts of life that I have witnessed and some that I believe could use some edits.
Fun Fact: The banner you now see accompanying my page was actually taken during my visit to Shakespeare’s home in Stratford-upon-Avon. How’s that for a geek moment? I was in literary nerdvana.
Many posts are heavy-ended sarcasm and are written for the purposes of entertainment. Some stories may be a bit embellished if it serves the purpose and names have been changed. These are my opinions and do not reflect the opinions of any affiliations.
